Citrix Receiver For Mac Won't Connect Two Different Networks
For All Things Citrix. My company uses Citrix Xenapp and I can run apps such as remote desktop. On my Mac with Citrix Receiver 12 the apps all open in Citrix Viewer. I want to make these apps run in full screen on my system but the option is greyed out in the tool bar. I can run Receiver in full screen but that is pointless as its only launching the apps. Google search has only resulted in a few things to try but it is more specific to multiple monitors. I am just running this on my macbook's screen.
Best free mac virus removal. I still cannot have multiple monitor support without unchecking 'Displays have. Beyond just 1 monitor or a laptop with 1 monitor connected?
I am not the administrator for our Citrix environment but I do have administrative access if there is a setting on the server side to change. I have OSX 10.10.4 (Yosemite) with the latest Receiver 12 and just tested launching things from the Receiver app (not through web browser). That environment consists of two StoreFront 3.0 systems talking back to a XenApp 6.5 HFRP5 environment and XD7.6. I am able to successfully launch them in seamless mode full screen. Not within the Desktop Viewer. Have your Citrix Admins review the following: edit Wait, by full screen do you mean the green arrows where it makes a new desktop/full full screen? Or just a seamless app that's maximized and fills out the desktop with the tray and menu bar still visible.
You can't do the full screen green arrow one. Intuit. You can maximize an app without the Desktop Viewer visible.
I am using the Citrix Receiver on Ipad to connect to the Web Interface via the Access Gateway. I am able to authenticate and get the list of applications from the Web Interface. However, I run into trouble when I try to launch an application. It goes through the steps - Authenticating -> Requesting Connection-> Starting application. And that's it. It gets stuck there.
I get a pop-up saying 'Connection Error - Could not connect to server'. I've checked the server logs of the web interface as well as the the XenApp server on which the application runs. Doesn't look like a session is ever launched on the XenApp server. Something is going wrong at the point in which the web interface contacts the XenApp server/farm. Strange that I don't see any errors in the event viewer. Hi All, I have the same problem only using iPad, NS 10.1.119.7, Web Interface 1.7 on Netscaler.
I'm trying to connect to a XenApp 6 Fundamentals (no domain, only local authentication), it works fine with Windows Clients and Android. With iPad authentication is completed, I can view published resources but after 'starting application' I receive the error 'Connection Error - Could not connect to server'. I have a receiver policy in to detect user-agent Recevier and on the profile i have also testing with java client type, clientless on / off ecc but no joy Please help! Many Thanks in advance Harald Edited by: Harald Vallazza on 30-ago-2013 19.23. Same issue here, launching apps from iPhone just sits on 'starting application' for a while then Connection Error Could not connect to server appears. Setup NS 10.1 119.7, upgraded from NS 9.3. WI 5.4, WI and Services sites configured with Gateway Direct Access Tried with the existing Session Policies as per CTX125364, these worked with NS9.3 prior to upgrade.
Followed and amended the session policies as per below to no avail. On the Client Experience tab, do the following: Next to Plug-in type, select Override Global and then select Java. Next to Clientless Access, select Override Global and then select Allow.
I can launch applications via the Services site proxy mode and see the session appears on NS, just not via iOS. Been a while since I originally created this thread. My problem had to do with the server URL that I was entering when configuring the connection in Receiver on Ipad.
I was originally using and I was getting the could not connect to server error. I then used the full path to the site as you would use when configuring the online plug-in Citrix/PNAgent/config.xml and that resolved the problem. At the time I was using NS10.0 build 75.7.nc with WI 5.4. On the Client Experience tab I have Plug-in Type left as the default Windows/Mac OS X (I think Java works here as well) and Clientless Access set to Allow.
On the published Applications tab I have ICA proxy set to ON, Web Interface address set to Citrix/PNAgent/config.xml, Web Interface Portal Mode set to Normal and I have my domain entered in the Single Sign-on Domain field. Hi - did you ever manage to get this issue resolved? I'm seeing the exact same thing. I have a pretty stock standard Netscaler v10.1 and Storefront server. The AGEE vServer was configured via the Enterprise Gateway Wizard. I can connect via the receiver for Web OK and launch published apps. But cannot launch apps via iOS devices (haven't tested android yet).
On my iphone I can authenticate to the store, and my apps are populated - but when I attempt to launch the screen says 'Starting Application.' And hangs for 30secs (ish) then says 'Connection Error' 'Could not connect to server'.
