Hi, I had working Vault installation, which was broken when I upgraded to Mac OS X Yosemite. So installed new 2015 Offise suite (including new Outlook (09). Then tried to install Enterprice Vault from disk image SymantecEnterpriseVaultClient.11.0.1.1022.dmg. The installation says: Cannot install Symantec Enterprise Vault Client on this computer for the following reasons: -No supported mail client found Try installing after ensuring that your computer meets the following minimum requirements: -Microsoft Outlook 2011 version 14.0.0 or later Any ideas what the problems is or what I could try? Needless to say the Outlook works just fine, is installed in the default location (/Applications/Microsoft Outlook.app) and is selected as the default mail client. I know this thread is a few months old, but I just stumbled across this issue and we figured out a cause. In this case, the Mac was using Outlook 2016, and both the Outlook and Mac versions were verified as being supported.

The reason that the EV client extensions couldn't recognize Outlook and check the version was that it was not installed at the top-level program folder. Apparently the client won't drill down from the top level at all when checking for Outlook, so if it's been installed in its own folder, the extensions won't find it unless you install the extensions in the same folder as Outlook. Hi, I have about 20 users on MAC with an Office 365 subscription. All of them are now on the latest EL Capitan v10.11.5 and Outlook v15.22.0. They are reporting freezing and slowness after every click of email and calendar. In my own research I saw there was major issues with Outlook, El Capitan and also with patch 15.18.0 for Outlook 2016 for MAC. () Has anyone seen this or found a fix? What I was going to try next was reverting to 15.19.0 on one users laptop because people were still reporting sluggishness on the latest version of Outlook. Excel mac formula for sensitivity tablet. My machine was already running the latest Outlook 2016 patch (15.22). After testing, I found that Outlook 2016 was slow at first, with the spinning beach ball, when: - starting up - switching from Mail to Calendar the first time for a given session However, once running and once both Calendar and Mail have been accessed, the reaction time is normal. Which leads me to ask, what are the specs of your Macs? As an example, my Mac Mini is a late 2010 model with 8 GB of RAM and a 320 GB SATA drive.
