Specifically it did seem to import all six years of transactions into the new version without any problems. However, I was underwhelmed by it in general and after using it for a few day, I went back to Quicken 2007. For me, I do not see any reason to put up with the limitations and deficiencies of the so-called 'upgrade' of Quicken 2016 for Mac. Quicken 2007 continues to do everything I need, Intuit continues to sell it for $15 on their chat support site and continues to upgrade it, most recently for El Capitan.
