Games Like Red Dead Redemption For Mac
There's also a pretty old game set in Wild West called 'Gun' It ain't a very good game, but it isn't bad either. Just absolutely DON'T expect the same quality level like RDR in it. Still, you can mount a horse, ride through the desert and shoot stuff in classical Wild West manner. Edit: Link to the GS Review: Played it myself long before RDR came out and found it quite entertaining though. Still, RDR is the clear better Wild West game. Justforvisit Gun was a pretty fun game, but it is quite short.
I recommend GUN, very fun game with a great story and a fantastic soundtrack. The only but major flaw is that the gameworld isn't as big and full of conteny like other sandbox games. Which is a damn shame, as the missions and activities are all well done and are varied enough that they feel fresh. There is also a great reason to get 100% completion in some ridiculously overpowered unlockables.
Best virus app for mac. The free version is a little too light for our tastes. There are three tiers. You can get more protection for free from Bitdefender. However, the premium version is decent. The first comes with the basics along with online banking protection.
This game definitely has soul and it could have been so much more had it stayed in development longer. I still recommend it wholeheartedly, it's a great game very well worth time invested. Isn't this one of the greatest themes ever? Just wondering if there are any western games out there that are like Red Dead Redemption for PC.
Red Dead Redemption 2. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is a tactical open-world stealth action video game developed and published by Konami Digital Entertainment. Grand Theft Auto V. Horizon Zero Dawn. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Murdered: Soul Suspect. The Elder Scrolls.
I've scoured Gamespot for something and have come back empty handed. It's got the open world and gun play that I would like, sadly it's not ported.:/ Are there any other titles that are similar? Soolkikifallout: new vegas is kinda western (like $10 on steam and $20 for ultimate edition). But i think RDR is one of the greatest games of all time and i've been gaming since like 1978 or something. I've admittedly only played 10 or so hours of RDR when my nephew brought his xbox over during xmas vacation but I honestly didn't find it that great. It wasn't terrible but best game, ever? It felt a lot like Grand Theft Auto (a series I am not a fan of) with chaps and spurs.
Maybe it gets better later on; I don't know and, since I don't own a console and RDR will never see the light of day on PC, I will likely never find out. I will say this, I can definitely see its influence in Skyrim. I'm actually somewhat surprised that nobody has thought to make a Western or RDR'ish mod or TC for Skyrim. It seems like it would be a natural fit. I've admittedly only played 10 or so hours of RDR when my nephew brought his xbox over during xmas vacation but I honestly didn't find it that great. (As far as the gameplay goes).
The important ones have been mentioned already I guess. There are also Dead Man's Hand and Oddworld Stranger's Wrath which isn't realistic at all of course but still has a nice western vibe. G-Lord Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is actually a great suggestion. It's about an alien bounty hunter on an alien world hunting aliens using a gun that shoots live alien ammo, but besides those elements is actually has a lot in common with RDR (open world, cowboy western theme, bounty hunter main character). It's an older game but it recently received an HD re-release on PC and consoles so now is a great time to play it.
